Medical Director
BIO
Brian T. Gietzen, MD
Medical DirectorDr. Gietzen is the Chief Medical Director for Legacy. He is the leader of the entire Medical Group, including the supervision of all the clinical staff. This ensures that the manner and level of care, and our communication to serve patient and family needs, are stellar and consistent across our entire medical team.
Dr. Gietzen started Legacy in 2002 to help put patients and their families in the center of the care process. His goal was to create a model that believes in engagement, customization, flexibility, and better outcomes.
Dr. Gietzen grew up in a family of physicians, and at a young age, he saw the difference that creating strong patient relationships makes in improving the quality of patients’ and families’ lives. Therefore, Dr. Gietzen’s passion is providing compassionate care and diligently coordinating across the entire care-giving team to dramatically improve the health and wellness of patients.
Dr. Gietzen takes pride in becoming a trusted resource and advocate for helping patients and their families coordinate overall care. Patients can rely on Legacy to connect the entire care team, whether they are hospital staff, home-care, or community-based nurses. Dr. Gietzen takes pride in being a trusted resource to manage complicated health-care delivery.
Dr. Gietzen received his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan and is a graduate of Wayne State University’s School of Medicine. He completed his residency at Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak.

Lauren Pomorski, PA
Physician AssistantLauren is a board-certified Physician Assistant who provides medical care through a variety of settings including inpatient, office, and various Independent and Assisted Living facilities.
Lauren’s passion for medicine starts and ends with her patients. From an early age, Lauren has had an insatiable need to care for others and help them attain their goals. Every patient possesses their own unique needs and Lauren strives to provide a treatment plan that will lead to the best possible outcome.
Lauren received her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Lipscomb University in 2021. She is also a graduate of
Rochester University’s Bachelor of Science Program in 2014 with a Major in Pre-PA studies and a Minor in Psychology.
In her spare time, she enjoys watching sports, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.

Bennett H. Lee, PA-C
Physician AssistantBennett Lee is a knowledgeable Physician Assistant (PA) with over 10 years of experience in providing high-quality, patient-centered care with compassion and integrity to patients across diverse clinical settings. After completing his undergraduate studies in Health Science, Bennett pursued a Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Western Michigan University. During his training, he exhibited a strong aptitude for clinical skills and a natural ability to connect with patients on a personal level.
Driven by a commitment to lifelong learning and professional growth, Bennett has continuously expanded his knowledge and skills through ongoing education and training. As a member of the Legacy Medical Group team, Bennett actively reviews current medical literature to stay up to date with the latest studies on medical advances with a focus on tailoring relevant findings to his patients. He believes in collaborating closely with patients to develop treatment plans that address their unique needs and preferences resulting in care that is truly individualized.
In addition to his clinical work, Bennett is actively involved in mentoring and training the next generation of healthcare professionals. He serves as a preceptor for PA students and participates in medical education programs to share his knowledge and experiences with aspiring clinicians. Outside of medicine, Bennett enjoys spending time with his family, watching his wife and both children play soccer, mountain biking, reading, travel and exploring new cuisines.
Nurse Practitioner

Zachary W. Salaysay, AGPCNP-BC
Nurse PractitionerZack obtained his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Michigan State University in 2015. He then went on to complete his Master of Science degree in Nursing to become a nurse practitioner at the University of Michigan in 2018. He is board-certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) as an Adult Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner.
Zack was drawn to geriatric care at a young age when he took on the role of caregiver for his grandfather. His passion comes from helping patients and families navigate today’s complex health-care system, as well as managing the many challenges one may face as they age. He believes in patient- and family-centered care where communication and quality of life are always in the forefront.
When not providing care, Zack enjoys spending time with family and friends. He also loves to cook, travel, and golf.
